Orion 2 er designet til meget lange flyvedage på dag- og natteovervågnings opgaver over stor områder. Med kavalarforstærket strøm og datakabel er Orion 2 i stand til at operere 24 timer i træk fra 120 meters højde med 2 kg nyttelast og med en synsvidde på 10-70 km.
ORION 2 fungerer som betjeningsvenlig regn- og snesikker observationspost dag og nat specielt rettet mod militær, specialstyrker, brandvæsen, offentlig sikkerhed, og indspektionsfirmaer.
